It is a beautiful, old-fashioned hotel. It is easily accessible by bus. I had a perfect stay. The people were extremely friendly and were always ready to help you. Even if you are the only one in the hotel, you can always count on them and they will even make you a private breakfast. The silence in the hotel was super nice after a long day of being out. I would return to this hotel if I am in Leeds again and also recommend it to others.

Room nice and warm, king size bed and pillows very comfortable, duvet not right size for bed, more for a double, but we slept well. Bathroom dated, shower over bath, mat had to be requested, bit slippery without. Nice touch with the soap etc in a basket. Lovely quiet location, free car parking. We got a taxi into the city centre at a cost of about £8, better than driving in and trying to find parking. Staff were great, very friendly and helpful, breakfast was plentiful and very fresh and tasty. Check in time was fabulous, 2pm. We would stay again.

We visited Leeds recently for our son's graduation and enjoyed a relaxing stay at Haley's Hotel in comfortable surroundings with friendly and helpful staff. We found our turret bedroom to be as charming and unpretentious as the rest of the hotel and a very welcome departure from the sterile anonymity of branded hotel chains.

Haleys is such a friendly hotel. It is a lovely building, located in a leafy avenue just a stones throw from the main Otkey Road through Headingley, so close to the restaurants but far enough to be unaffected by the noise. There is free parking available on site.Rooms are very comfortable and fairly priced. Drinks at the bar are also reasonable and the breakfast, included in the room rate, is very good. The hotel is a lovely change from all of the chains. I love the personal touch. My only tip would be to invest in a coffee machine to extend beyond basic filter coffee.I am sure we will be back.

Another enjoyable stay at this comfortable and traditional hotel in the leafy, quieter bit of Headingley. Always clean and warm, with friendly staff and good breakfast in the rather fine dining room - just right for us. Near some very good restaurants; you can also order food in and eat in the bar. Note for foodies: the breakfast cook does a wonderful black pudding and poached eggs.

I found my room at Haley's to be clean, quiet and comfortable. The single bed is more like a 3/4 double, plenty of room to stretch out! The staff are so friendly and helpful. I had a minor issue with my room which was resolved swiftly and with care. In addition they kindly flexed their schedule to allow me to stay well later than checkout time as I was not leaving Leeds until lunchtime. The breakfast was outstanding, a selection of continental and well cooked full English. There is also free parking in the grounds of the hotel. I will definitely come back.

My husband and I spent 2 nights in Haley’s hotel while we attended cricket at Headingly. This hotel in a very pretty, quiet street away from the busy main road which is jam packed full of restaurant, pubs, coffee shops etc.The main hotel building is very impressive, set in its own grounds with lots of trees and plenty of parking. This hotel consists of the main building plus a second building with a few rooms where we stayed and at all times felt very private and quiet.I breakfast was included and we could choose from a full English or continental breakfast which was all fresh and tasty. All the staff we met were very friendly and nits possibly the fastest check in/out experience we have ever had which was refreshing. We have booked to attend cricket again next September and plan to stay at Haley’s hotel. Had a lovely stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful...nothing was to much trouble for Debbie who cleaned our room. We said we were hot so she got us another fan.Large twin bedded room with comfortable beds. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, with plenty of milk cartons...if you need more you just ask at reception.Only negatives for me: Having an injured knee meant stairs as there is no lift (thankfully, we were on the first floor), and restaurant not open in the evenings (we were tired after our journey and would have preferred to eat at the hotel...however, there are a few restaurants at the bottom of the road within walking distance to the hotel). All in all, if we were over in Leeds again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Haley's.Breakfast was plentiful. Only downside for me was I like my food piping hot, which is difficult to achieve/maintain with a vuffet

So it doesn't have the most up to date furnishings but it has so much charm. The street is quiet, leafy residential. It has a small bar and a front garden with just two tables to enjoy a sundowner. My room was small but comfortable and I slept well as a single traveller. I loved that it was peaceful and an old house beautifully converted to a hotel. The reception lady was polite, helpful and did not fuss. Breakfast had a good choice of full English or continental with fruit and yoghurts.Just one small thing; the wifi signal was not strong enough to play video.I'd come again whenever I'm next in Leeds.

After booking for one night, I stayed for two and had an amazing stay x the staff were so lovely and welcoming, apart from one slightly frosty character x room was lovely and the bed one of the comfiest ever x I would recommend this hotel to anyone needed a break as it is extremely quiet, even though it is just off the main Headingley strip! I will definitely be back x thanks to everyone who made my solo trip the perfect mini break xx🥰

We stayed for only one night having stayed last year for the cricket which we did again this year. The hotel is ideally suited to this. We have had great rooms on both nights and the hospitality shown by all at the hotel is second to none. The breakfast is also excellent.

Stayed at Haley's a number of times when over for the cricket and never disappointed but also a great option for Leeds itself. Regular buses and only 15 minutes away make it easy to get into the city. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast, free parking, couldn't ask for more. Excellent value, looking forward to a couple more stays this year.

My family all stayed at Haley’s last weekend for our wedding in Headingley. The hotel has a lovely, relaxed, friendly feel to it which made it the perfect place for a gathering of family of all ages; it’s also far enough from Otley Road to be quiet and peaceful. The staff at the hotel were brilliant from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, from letting me check out my parents’ room in advance to make sure it was accessible, to loaning us a room to use for hair and make-up on the morning of the wedding. The kids had an absolute blast - everyone made them feel so welcome and listened to their terrible jokes with very good humour! The communal areas were clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed having the lounge/bar area to congregate in. Breakfast was also excellent and the staff kindly allowed me and my husband to join everyone on the Sunday morning, even though we weren’t staying there. The only minor niggle that people mentioned was that the water pressure on the top floor wasn’t great in certain rooms; however, this is potentially to be expected in an older building. Overall, my family were full of praise for Haley’s and in particular, all the lovely people who work there, who epitomise truly fantastic customer service. We would definitely recommend Haley’s to anyone looking for a place to stay in Leeds. Thank you to all the staff for helping to make our wedding weekend such an enjoyable one!

We had heard of Haley’s Hotel from our daughter, as she & her husband would visit their daughters at University in Leeds. So when we decided to visit the girls we were recommended Haley’s Hotel. We can honestly say we have not regretted a minute of it. Our entrance through a very imposing front door, into a beautifully carpeted & furnished entrance looking to our left was the reception desk at which sat a smiling receptionist, who handed the room keys to usWe made our way up the lovely staircase, a carpet similar to the hallway covering them, made me feel more that I was coming to a grand home not a hotel? Our room overlooked the front entrance, surrounded by trees filled with the sound of birdsong it really was a delightful experience. The young ladies couldn’t do enough to be of help, I had unfortunately eaten something in a Pub at dinner that had a disastrous effect on me, the Receptionist was so very very helpful.Breakfast was fantastic and our bed - perfect. All in all I give Haley’s Hotel 10 out of 10. A truly great experience. Want to come to Leeds or up North, stay at Haley’s

I arrived very late, but nothing was a bother for Paul, who was working through the night and until the end of breakfast, offering to bring my bag up to my room and making it clear that he was available if I had any issues. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower a decent size with good water pressure and plenty of hot water (not always guaranteed on the top floor of a small private hotel!)Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, with a full English or continental (great croissants) available.

This was my second stay at Haley's Hotel. This time it was just me so I booked a single room. The bed and room are a good size. I found the room very hot when I arrived as both radiators where on and found them tricky to turn off, however the lady on reception was very helpful and sorted them for me. Even without heating on the room was a little warm for me, but probably not for many. Importantly the room was extremely clean on arrival and has two large windows so plenty of light. Breakfast is excellent, nicely cooked and a good selection. I would stay here again as the location and value for money is great.

The location has a great bus route from the main road and on the Strictly night it was ten mins in a taxi. The hotel itself is very friendly, especially Sophie on reception and the night porter/breakfast chef, who was extremely friendly and helpful with my dietary requirements. Our stay was short (1 night) but sweet in this beautiful period hotel that has been tastefully and sympathetically decorated. Our room was clean, comfortable, spacious and well furnished with a good sized en-suite. It was incredibly quiet to say we were only a stones throw away from the main road into Leeds. It felt quite rural and to my surprise I even heard an owl!

It was the second time I havestayed in this beautiful and comfortable house, away from the corporate hotel atmosphere, what makes all the difference for feeling at home. And, again, it was lovely! We had a small doble room, which was very suitable for us. Excelent bed, god bath, all very clean andwell kept.Breakfast was huge and delicious! And to top it all, staff were fully available, most helpful and very kind and smilling.Coming back to Leeds no doubt will stay here again!

We all like the variety available at breakfast and the food is always hot, thank you. Friendly staff too and parking is another bonus.

This was our fifth visit, so that says it all, really. We like it because it's welcoming and comfortable. Really good breakfasts from Paul and Melvyn in an elegant dining room, and the hotel is happy for you to order an evening meal delivery to eat in their bar if you don't fancy going out to eat that night. A quiet leafy street in Headingley, but just a few minutes walk from a good assortment of restaurants, including the excellent De Baga. Rooms well serviced every day.

We were really happy with the location and sensible approach to us being able to access the room early. We'd expected just to park. Staff extremely welcoming. Swift and active response to any queries. Huge room. Very good breakfast. Well done reception and breakfast team. A few wobbly elements, not unusual in an older building.

Breakfast was fine although 9am finish was quite early for us - it did get us moving quicker than usual on a break though. Quiet, residential location and very well placed for bars, cafes, etc. in Headingley and for cricket ground and buses into Leeds centre.

It is a long time since I have stayed in such a wonderful hotel!Old fashioned yet wonderfully clean and comfortable, this hotel is what hospitality should be about.Paul, Natalie and Debbie were marvellous on front desk, with Paul also doing a sterling job at breakfast along with Melvyn and Tracey.Breakfast was wonderful with lovely fluffy warm croissants, plenty of hot choices and cereals and unlimited juice and coffee. Our room was kept sparkling by Debbie from housekeeping who also arranged for us to have sheets and blankets rather than a duvet, which we find too hot. Our room on the top floor with wonderful views was in the turret and we loved it.It was cool and bright and the bathroom large and luxurious.I was working while I was staying and the staff made sure I had water and coffee. The historic nature of the building was homely while being grand and elegant, quite something to pull off!If I could stay in this hotel wherever I went I would be so happy, but alas I think it is definitely a one off!

We found the room very comfortable, although the shower hose proved somewhat tricky, and I would have appreciated a hand rail for safety. Breakfast was excellent. However, it was extremely disappointing to arrive at a place advertised as "Hotel and Restaurant" to discover that there wasn't actually a restaurant available, and the local alternatives were more suitable for a younger clientele. After a very tedious journey, this was a considerable damper on our experience.

Will stay again.2 points > Breakfast good but spoiledby music at fairly loud volume from a radio station with so-called "popular" music and really idiotic adverts. I could do without that. The hotel ( main building)is nice with a lovely stair well and pictures - disappointing to have to stay in the annex (room 32) View out of window includes next door's clapped out motor car . Oh dear !

Night porter very helpful to leave our keys with as was leaving earlier than breakfast and to check out as daughter having operation & had to be at hospital by 7 am , rooms most lovely , smart , pretty hotel . Only downside no coasters to put coffee cups on but did have saucers with cups . Thanks for being welcoming and accommodating our needs .

1-2/7/23:This was the nicest hotel stay we have ever had.The hotel building itself was full of character and exactly as shown on their website. The room was clean and the facilities were everything you would expect from a well-run establishment. What really stood out for us was the truly exceptional customer service. From the first enquiry on the phone to the last goodbyes, the staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. On arrival we were met with smiling faces and a reviving coffee after a long drive.Even though it was a busy time of year, we were instantly made to feel that nothing was too much trouble, whatever time of day or night it was.As our first hotel stay since the pandemic in an unfamiliar city, it was lovely to feel so well looked after and at ease. The generous breakfast that was included in the price of our room was also outstanding, with a full range of delicious hot and cold options which set us up for the day.The hotel had been recommended to us by family who always stay there when in Leeds and we have no hesitation in passing on that recommendation.

As mature guests we visit every year,it is a quiet Hotel with mainly business clients, ( no sign of Hen/Stag groups ! ) The staff are very friendly, the breakfast selection is excellent and the beds very comfortable. We also loved watching the birds in the surrounding trees and the mother squirrel leading her tiny babies across the lawn. The only minor thing was that semi-skimmed milk wasn't available with the complimentary coffee/tea etc. But God willing this will be our Hotel next year.

A pleasant one night stay. Comfortable bed, clean room and we appreciated the fan as it was a very warm night. A summer weight duvet would have beennice too. Breakfast OK, but would much prefer fresh fruit to tinned, and the bread is just the basic sliced stuff. Good, fresh croissants. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Easy parking onsite.

My third stay at the Haley's Hotel. Perfect location for Headingly Cricket Ground which is just a short walk from the hotel. I was in Leeds for the Yorks vs Lancs T20 match. I only stayed for the one night but I very much enjoyed nonetheless. Plenty of spaces in the car park when I arrived. My room, as always, was very clean and comfortable as was the bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and very tasty. I am already looking forward to visiting the Haley's hotel again next Summer.

It is always good to stay at Haley's.Our room was very comfortable, very clean and well appointed. The staff are excellent, welcoming and friendly, perhaps the best thing about the hotel. They are lovely. It is extremely comfortable. When we come to Leeds we always stay here,(if we can get a booking) because we know that our room will be really comfortable and that we will be with friendly people. Its location is very convenient for the University, and there are lots of good restaurants in the local are to choose from for dinner. The Breakfast is generous with a really good range of choices. We would recommend it without hesitation.

We stayed here in 2019 and returned four years later because we had a pleasant experience then. The rooms are well appointed, the professional and very friendly & helpful front desk and housekeeping staff provided excellent customer service throughout our stay. We couldn't have asked for more accommodating service.

I stayed at short notice - only a single room available! I was not disappointed it was perfect for one. A small comfortable double bed (I’ve definitely stayed in smaller doubles!) and a lovely full English available in the morning! No evening meal but in less than 5 mins you can walk to the local high street for pubs and restaurants.

My sister and I had one night in a twin bedded king size room - everything very clean and comfortable, nice room and en-suite and a good nights sleep. Well cooked breakfast next morning. No evening restaurant but plenty of restaurant choices 5 mins walk away. Great location in Headingly and hotel itself is in a charming old building with lots of character and well looked after - ample parking. Would be a really good choice for a longer stay.

During breakfast we were sat in a room across from the breakfast buffet as the main room was full. The chef came to check up on us and asked if we needed anything else and even offered us a pot of coffee for the table. I stayed with a friend at Haley's Hotel and Restaurant for just 2 nightswhilst we visited the Emmerdale film set beyond Eccup Lane. It was a very pleasant experience at a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and the hotel had a homely atmosphere about it. The breakfast was excellent but no evening meals are available so it is a case of finding a nearby pub or restaurant of which there are plenty. On a broader note, it is quite an experience to view the abundance of youngsters who gather around the pubs on weekend evenings, decked out in an array of fancy dress- generally speaking, they are well behaved, albeit somewhat loud and boisterous! All in all, a most pleasant hotel and area at which to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Haley's for the night of January 17/18. The weather in Leeds was bitterly cold but the hotel was warm and welcoming, figuratively as well as literally. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious (though two of our group found them a little too warm overnight!); the small number of staff were charming and very helpful; the bar area was very congenial; and the breakfast offered a good choice and was enjoyable. I was delighted to stay at Haley’s when looking I was surprised at the attitude of Premier Inn, the nearest to my venue, but fear not from the initial booking to my departure was excellent.I arrived earlier than expected but no issue at all breakfast was very good. My room for one was in fact a three quarter bed with loads of room.Overall excellent and will come back.

A very relaxed atmosphere and large room with an extremely comfortable bed .The staff member at breakfast was so friendly and attentive, he deserves a medal. The only issue I had was the shower, which was a bit dated and not much flow.Apart from this I would definitely consider returning.

I chose to come here again rather than the Premier Inn up the road as I love the quiet location (but so close to restaurants!), the comfy bed (stayed in turret room) and the general homeliness of this old building with its grand wooden staircase, historic paintings and a good breakfast. Friendly welcome as usual.

My wife and I stayed for one night to attend the England Women's Rugby League World Cup game against Papua New Guinea. This charming hotel is within a 15 minute walk to the Headingley venue. It is in a safe, leafy suburb of Leeds in attractive grounds with plenty of parking. We had a few minute walk into the Headington centre, with plenty of welcoming pubs, restaurants and shops too. The hotel staff were lovely and welcoming and our double room was clean, warm and very comfortable. We had a great breakfast earl the next morning and wished that we could have stayed longer to visit the many attractions Leeds offers. A great place.

Great hotel, lovely welcoming staff.Spotlessly xlean, situated on a quiet lane but only a minutes walk to the main road to a few local pubs and the way into Leeds (10-15 min bus ride of which there were plenty)Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We requested an earlier check in of 2pm which they confirmed was fine, we arrived earlier than expected, before half 1 but it wasn't a problem, our room was ready.Breakfast was delicious, great choice...a lovely husband & wife team looking after everyone at breakfast. All round excellent stay, this is where we'll stay when next visiting Leeds. Thanks for the excellent customer service Haleys.

Traditional hotel in a good location for Headingley and walkable from the university (20 min). The room was comfortable with a large bathroom. The star feature was the breakfast, one of the best quality cooked breakfasts we’ve had. Our only small issue was the water pressure in the shower, although there was plenty of hot water. Uber to city centre was only £7.90.

The hotel is in a very quiet street that meant a very sound nights sleep. It is in easy safe walking distance to local amenities, and a good walk into Leeds city centre (approx 2 miles, down hill on the way there and uphill on the way back!). The staff were very friendly and helpful and Paul the cook delivers a good breakfast!

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was lovely and the bed and pillows were super comfy (my hubby even took the pillow slip off to see if their was a manufacturers name on the pillows so we could buy some! Breakfast was the best brekkie we have ever had at a hotel, fresh, well cooked, hot and a great selection. We will be back if in the area again.

Love the location of this charming, comfortable hotel in a leafy, quiet street. Parking is very useful to have - we left the car and took buses and taxi to and from town. A group of us stayed at the hotel whilst in Leeds for an ex Leeds Polytechnic Rugby Reunion weekend and our stay could not have gone any better. The rooms are clean and comfortable, a bar to end the day with a nightcap or two and a really good breakfast to set us up for the day ahead. On top of that the hotel staff are really helpful and friendly and meeting with Paul completed a great weekend away. He welcomed us to the hotel, was behind the bar later on and then cooked us breakfast and all with good humour. In addition to this the hotel is ideally located for the pubs in Headingley.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Haley's Hotel. The hotel has a lovely decor and is well kept. The staff is amazing! Everybody was very kind, helpful and attentive. The hotel offers a great breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. Guests with food intolerances are also catered for: I saw that guests were, for example, able to order a gluten-free option or things that weren't part of the buffet. My room was cosy, nicely furnished and clean and I was able to sleep very well in the comfy bed. Headingly is quite busy, but the hotel is situated in a quiet side road. Haley's Hotel is close to bus stops and not far from Burley Park Station. Will definitely book again when I'm in Leeds again.

I (55f) was travelling to visit friends, and my eldest daughter (35f) agreed to accompany me.The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and even when we arrived earlier than anticipated, they went out of their way to accommodate us.We requested a twin room. The room supplied was a king size bed, that splits out to a twin. Our room was in the annex building, and this building interior felt like being in a historic building and felt very grandiose.Although some of the decor seemed a little tired, the hotel was so nice you can overlook that.Breakfast was buffet style, it was very tasty and a chef was on hand to cater to additional requests.

You don’t get this warm welcome at large corporate hotels and it was lovely to feel so well looked after. The room was lovely really quiet, a few small issues, toilet push flush wasn’t working, shower cubicle didn’t close properly and the hot water pressure on the top floor was very poor. What makes up for this are the wonderful staff all are a credit to the Hotel.

Went to Leeds to visit family and Haleys contributed to a really pleasant short weekend, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean comfortable, airy (windows opened & good fan provided)and although not large was very nice and like the rest of the hotel interior full of character and very well maintained, especially for an old building. Breakfast was lovely and overall have to say it was a great value, really enjoyable stay. Will definitely return. Thanks

Great great place to stay! We had a dulux Kings bedroom in a separate annexe from the main hotel and were amazed by the amount of space! The leafy quiet road immediately takes you away from the choas of the city the weekend after graduation!!Wished our stay could've been much longer!

Wife, daughter, and I in Leeds for son's uni graduation, travelled from US.Wonderful, unique, genuine experience in British hospitality, especially for Americans wanting to get away from chain motels.Fantastic staff, nicely maintained and a bit quaint.Street is very quiet yet a 2 minute walk from road with many drinking and eating options, coffee shops, Sainsbury's, hardware store, etc.5-10 minute Uber from city center.I loved it.

We have stayed here before and each time had a different type of room although just thought we were booking a normal double room. This time we had a whole suite with spacious bedroom, separate lounge area with small kitchenette and large bathroom. All very clean and comfy. Shame we werestaying more than 1 night to make better use of it.Good breakfast in the morning which was included in the price.

Lovely setting although just a few minutes walk to headingly and all its bars and restaurant .Rooms were clean and comfy, our only gripe was that the window would only open a crack and so the room was too stuffy. The cooked breakfast was outstanding and the breakfast staff very helpful and cooked excellent eggs to order. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've had for a long time!

We had a little difficulty finding the hotel as we had put the postcode in the SatNav, rather than the road. (Tip) Upon arrival, we were welcomed and given our room key for the turret room.(22) Really pleasant, clean and not the usual corporate hotel. The self-serve breakfast was fresh and lovely.Very nice overnight stay.

We only stayed one night, to see a concert at the First Direct Arena. We had left it a bit late to book so had to look slightly further away (1.5 miles). This worked out well for us. This is a much nicer place than an ordinary "box room" of a faceless brand. We had a big comfortable room, big bathroom, top notch. If I had to criticise the new paint was on top of less well prepared paint, but I expect the building is 100+ years old, so no complaints. It looks freshly decorated and clean.Reception was friendly and helpful, he recommended we caught and Ubber taxi - a first for us - £7 to the stadium, and the same back. Easy and convenient. We were late to breakfast - not listening, and got down at 9.15 - it was all tideied away but the chef?? offered to cook us sausages, brought out milk, fruit, tea etc. Faultless and friendly.Over all, and very pleasant experience. Would go back.P.S We avoided a second floor room due to the bad review on the shower pressure. Ironically we were on the second floor (perhaps a different room) but there were no issues with any of the facilities.

We stayed at Haleys hotel whilst attending a concert at the first direct arena. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised, the hotel itself is based in its own grounds and has plenty of private parking. Inside the main reception area you can see the hotel has kindly kept the hotels Era in tact which I absolutely love, there's loads of character. The last on reception was lovely and helpful. Please note the bar is currently closed due to staff shortages. We did bring our own alcohol anyway so this wasn't a problem. We were given our key and directed to the building next door, we were in the top floor suite which consisted of a large bedroom, livingroom with kitchen and large bathroom with shower. This building is old but extremly clean and you can clearly see the staff look after it well.Breakfast is a self serve in the morning and everything you would expect is available. Food was nice and plenty to choose from.We would visit again without a doubt. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hayley’s Hotel. The hotel is grand and luxurious whilst offering value for money. Comfortable, warm, beds comfy, beautifully decorated and furnished. Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful! Only a few small issues during our stay, we weren’t provided with enough toilet roll for our 2nd night after housekeeping had been in the rooms so we ran out and had to go to reception the next morning to ask for some. Also the shower was difficult to find a temp that suited as the taps ran hot and cold & the breakfast condiments and hot food could be replaced more frequently. We will definitely stay again if we are in Leeds and would recommend the hotel. Thanks 🙏

We were out for a weekend away and stayed at the beautiful country house as it was near where we wanted to be- to explore amazing city of Leeds. We booked it via booking dot com. Welcome reception at the front desk. Free Wifi to keep you going if your are an IT geek or a weekender free lancer. We had a family room to ourselves. Nice double bed with two single beds. Coffee ☕️ making facility and iron with iron board! Bathroom had a toilet as well as bath and a shower cubicle. Kids were happy too as Netflix was provided too. Kids just wanted to use toilet, bath and shower together and they suggested if there was a curtain for the bath then it would have been perfect though they enjoyed it nonetheless.Night was a quiet one and we chose it specifically as management doesn’t allow hen parties so we were sure we will have a sound night of sleep. There was a breakfast and my world it was cooked as well as continental so plenty of choice though I was very much happy with my black coffee and a croissant- yummy! All in all it was a joyful stay ….

A bit old fashioned inside, but that's in line with the outside of the building, more boutique style.Pillows very firm and quilt very heavy, so I didn't sleep well,,however my wife slept well. there is a fan, iron and hair dryer x2 provided. Plenty of tea, and coffee with buscuits to!One of my milk cartons had gone off, but more milk was available from the friendly reception staff.Breakfast was excellent with self service cooked and cold breakfast.Location is great with only a 2 min walk to the main street. So you can leave the car in the large car park and walk to the many bars and eateries.

The hotel is in a great location, easy access to the heart of Headingley just a couple of minutes walk away. Very regular buses into Leeds. The hotel and rooms are very clean and great facilities, I had a cosy single which was much larger than I expected and the bed was between single and double. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. My only issues with the stay were sloping (and very creaky) floors in the room also sloping in the bathroom and bar room. Watch where you park your car, try and avoid being under the trees in the carpark, my car ended up with lots of large deposits of something stuck all over the bonnet. I'd definitely stay again, just avoid the trees.

I loved our bedroom. We had a beautiful bay window so the room was so light and spacious, and 2 lovely arm chairs to sit in. One of the best things was that we had good quality bed side lamps - so often in hotels I find that the lamps they provide are so tiny and so dim that you cannot read by them and are forced to put on the overhead light which is very harsh. Lovely big bathroom and a bath! So thank youHOwever breakfast was disappointing: cereals in packets rather than in bowls, jam etc in packets rather than pots. The tomatoes I got on my plate with my eggs were tinned not fresh. Given that Haleys is such a wonderful hotel I would love for the food to be more eco friendly, less plastic packaging and fresherAll the staff at the hotel were so so lovely and friendly and kind

Very pleasant stay and the free car parking was a bonus. Staff were very friendly and the room met our needs although there was not a great deal of hanging space in the wardrobe. The only negative was breakfast which was 'from 7 to 9'. When we turned up at 7 we were greeted by "but no one is here for 7" and it was at least twenty past before we could tuck in. We had to leave at 7:45 so it ended up being a bit of a rush. No complaints about the quality or quantity of the food though.

Haley's Hotel is in an excellent location: a quiet leafy street, but close to the pubs and restaurants of Headingly, and an easy bus ride from central Leeds. The room was very clean and comfortable, a generous size for a single traveller, and with a good-sized bathroom. Everything worked well. Breakfast was OK, though nothing special. However, what made the stay better than ordinary was the owner's interest in the building and the history of the area. The carefully-written history of the house and its neighbours (available in the reception area) persuaded me to pay proper attention to the nearby buildings; this was gently rewarding. The illustrated lineage of the Brudenells, who became Earls of Cardigan, lines the main staircase and is also well done and interesting.

Haley’s is a lovely quiet small family run hotel with a country house feel. The beds & bedrooms are very comfortable, & the bathrooms spotlessly clean. The public areas & some of the bedrooms have antique furnishings, which reflect the Edwardian building. When in Leeds we always try to book a room here. It’s a quiet road, but within a 3 minute walk of Headingly High Street & it’s shops, cafes & cinema etc.The breakfasts are excellent too.
